Job Description

Overview

The Community Manager at Wallick Communities is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the French Lick Apartments. This part-time position involves leading a team, ensuring financial accountability, maintaining community standards, and fostering positive relationships with residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals
  • Process community staff payroll
  • Ensure collections of all monies due to the community
  • Process community invoices for payment
  • Maintain occupancy levels and positive resident relationships
  • Review rental applications for approval
  • Complete necessary paperwork for move-outs and inspections
  • Audit resident files for completeness and accuracy
  • Complete reports required by governing agencies
  • Maintain community standards and perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager
  • Experience with HUD / Section 8 is a plus
  • 3 years in a general manager role or similar
  • High School diploma or associate's degree preferred
  • Dependable with reliable transportation
  • Commitment to exceptional resident service
  • Deadline-driven with attention to detail and compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Yardi is a plus
