Overview

The Community Manager at WSH Management, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the operations of a 57-unit Tax Credit property in Los Angeles. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with community policies, handling financial reporting, and supervising a team while also maintaining strong tenant relations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property operations and compliance standards
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, and assist in annual budget development
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including rent collection
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to the Maintenance Technician
  • Perform administrative tasks including move-in/move-out processing and resident file management
  • Support residents through the recertification process and address concerns professionally
  • Train and onboard new staff to foster a collaborative team culture
  • Maximize property occupancy and minimize lost rent
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and landlord/tenant laws

Required skills

  • Experience in property management and tenant relations
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 and property management software
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
