Job Description

Overview

The Community Manager at Wallick Communities will lead a team in providing quality housing for residents at Greenwood Commons & West Alex Village in New Lebanon, Ohio. This role involves overseeing property management operations, ensuring financial responsibilities are met, and maintaining high occupancy levels while fostering positive relationships with residents and community owners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and engage a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals
  • Ensure collections of rent and other monies due to the community
  • Process community invoices for payment and manage supplies
  • Maintain acceptable occupancy levels (minimum 98%)
  • Review rental applications for approval
  • Complete required reports and audits for compliance with regulations
  • Perform move-out inspections and maintain community standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager, preferably with HUD/Section 8 experience
  • Strong people leadership and process management skills
  • High school diploma or associate's degree preferred
  • Dependable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional customer service commitment
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Yardi
