Job Description

Overview

As a Community Manager at Wallick Communities, you will lead a team at Four Pointe Apartments in Richmond, Kentucky. Your role will involve overseeing property management, resident engagement, and maintaining operational excellence while fostering a supportive work environment within a 100% employee-owned company dedicated to affordable housing.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals
  • Process community staff payroll
  • Ensure collections of all monies due to the community
  • Process community invoices for payment
  • Maintain acceptable levels of occupancy (minimum 98%)
  • Review rental applications for approval
  • Complete move-out paperwork according to regulations
  • Perform unit move-out, annual, and housekeeping inspections
  • Audit resident files for completeness
  • Timely completion of required reports
  • Maintain the community to company standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience in residential property management or 3 years in a general manager position
  • Knowledge of HUD / Section 8 is a plus
  • High School diploma or associate's degree preferred
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and compliance focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Yardi is a plus
