Job Description

Overview

As a Community Manager at Wallick Communities, you will oversee operations in Linton and French Lick, Indiana, contributing to a mission-driven organization that provides affordable housing. You will lead a team, ensure financial accountability, and maintain positive relationships with residents while fostering a supportive work environment in a 100% employee-owned company.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to enhance resident experience.
  • Ensure collection and deposit of all community revenues.
  • Process community invoices and maintain necessary supplies.
  • Maintain appropriate occupancy levels and positive resident relations.
  • Review rental applications for approval.
  • Complete required inspections and audits of resident files.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports for government and company standards.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • 1+ year of residential property management experience, preferably with HUD/Section 8 experience.
  • 3 years of general management experience with strong leadership skills.
  • High School diploma; associate's degree preferred.
  • Commitment to exceptional resident service.
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
