Overview

The Community Manager at Wallick Communities will oversee operations at Greenwood Commons and West Alex Village in New Lebanon, Ohio. This full-time role involves leading a team, ensuring financial responsibilities, maintaining community standards, and fostering positive relationships with residents and owners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals.
  • Process community staff payroll.
  • Ensure timely collection of all rents and payments.
  • Maintain acceptable occupancy levels (minimum 98%).
  • Review rental applications and manage move-out paperwork.
  • Perform inspections and audits of resident files.
  • Complete reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain community standards and perform related duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager or 3 years in a general manager position.
  • Experience with HUD / Section 8 is a plus.
  • High School diploma or associate's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with COS, LIHTC, HCCP, or AHM is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident service.
  • Deadline-driven with a focus on compliance and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience is a plus.
