Overview

Cuso International is seeking a passionate volunteer Communications Officer for the Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation. This role focuses on enhancing communication systems to enhance the visibility of the Foundation’s impactful programs through social media management, public relations, content creation, and branding development.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and elevate the Foundation's communications including social media engagement.
  • Create materials and distribute content across various social platforms.
  • Oversee website content management and publication.
  • Plan and execute training sessions for staff on communication methods.
  • Contribute to public relations initiatives and compile annual reports.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Skills in website management and public relations.
  • Training and development experience.
