Overview

Cuso International is seeking a Communications Officer volunteer for the Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation located in Kingston, Jamaica. The role involves enhancing the Foundation's communication systems and boosting the visibility of its programs by managing social media engagement and creating impactful content. This volunteer position is for a duration of five months and is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing a vibrant social media presence to enhance audience engagement
  • Create, manage, and maintain website content, including newsletters and blogs
  • Plan and execute training sessions for staff on innovative communication methods
  • Contribute to public relations initiatives, including compiling annual reports
