Coop Metro Plus d'Asbestos is seeking a Commis épicerie (réceptionnaire) to join their grocery team. This role involves receiving and verifying deliveries, ensuring products are accurately recorded and stored, and maintaining well-stocked shelves for customers. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing inventory and coordinating with suppliers in a dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and count merchandise intended for sale, including grocery, dairy, frozen, and bakery products.
  • Ensure proper placement of goods in storage areas such as warehouses, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Label and display products according to department rules.
  • Adjust prices on shelves as necessary and execute product rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the department.
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.
