Overview

Mobilier Direct inc. is seeking a Commis comptable et administration to handle a variety of tasks while interacting with department directors and project managers. The role includes responsibilities related to administrative management, inventory control, payroll processing, and accounting support.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet clients and manage reception duties
  • Handle administrative management, including mail organization and filing
  • Oversee inventory and procurement of office supplies
  • Manage production inventory and raw material procurement
  • Record work hours and process weekly payroll for employees
  • Assist the operations director with human resources management
  • Support external accounting by handling billing, accounts payable, and deposits
  • Prepare and monitor warranties, receipts, and maintenance letters
  • Perform accounting tasks including period-end and year-end entries
  • Act as a resource for using Acomba and Excel
  • Complete other related tasks as required

Required skills

  • Knowledge of accounting and administrative management
  • Experience with Acomba and Microsoft Office suite
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Familiarity with inventory management
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities
  • Flexibility and discretion
