Overview

Premium Plumbing LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead their team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves managing a crew of plumbers while actively contributing to commercial plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with Florida plumbing codes and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on commercial job sites
  • Perform hands-on plumbing work while overseeing daily project operations
  • Read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints and technical documents
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Serve as the primary contact for field team members, providing support and training
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders for smooth project execution
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the workforce
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly to minimize delays

Required skills

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Florida commercial plumbing codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • OSHA certification or other safety training preferred
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and carry heavy tools
  • Proficiency with PVC, CPVC, copper (sweat and ProPress), and cast iron piping systems
