Overview

JAM Best One Tire and Service is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician in Flint, Michigan. This role requires no prior experience, as on-site training will be provided. Technicians will perform tire installations and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles, contributing to a collaborative work environment focused on growth and personal fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform tire installations on light, medium, and heavy trucks, as well as agricultural vehicles
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Participate in 24-hour emergency road service on an on-call rotation
  • Engage in personal training and development for technical skills
  • Work towards A.S.E. or State Certifications with company support

Required skills

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Current valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and crawl while operating tools and equipment
  • 21 years or older
