Overview

BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE is seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Road Service Technician to join their team in Lafayette, Indiana. This full-time position offers a competitive starting salary based on experience, and the company emphasizes creating a positive environment for team members and customers alike.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate heavy-duty service trucks and associated tools
  • Remove, install, rotate, and balance commercial tires both in the shop and at fleet locations
  • Evaluate tire conditions to determine repair or replacement needs
  • Provide fleet inspections and make tire recommendations
  • Perform on-site tire fleet service and manage fleet tire specifications
  • Conduct Emergency Road Service for blown tires
  • Prepare on-site paperwork detailing services performed
  • Communicate fleet needs with Service and Sales teams
  • Maintain assigned service truck for preventive maintenance and appearance
  • Safely operate shop machinery and diagnostic equipment
