Overview

Advanced Green Technologies (AGT) is seeking an experienced Solar Foreman to lead and support commercial solar installation projects in Sanford, Florida. This hands-on role involves overseeing crew performance, ensuring job site safety, and delivering projects on time with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Train Solar Installers in all job aspects including safety requirements.
  • Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crews and subcontractors.
  • Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines.
  • Monitor progress of installers throughout the installation process.
  • Ensure accuracy of crew time sheets.

Required skills

  • 5+ years in a Foreman position
  • 10+ years of electrical experience
  • 2+ years of solar installation experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs or more
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Adaptable to new technologies and web-based software systems
  • NAPCEP Certification preferred
  • Proficient in English
