Overview

Thompson Tire & Service is seeking energetic and team-oriented Commercial Tire Service Technicians in Dubuque, Iowa. The role involves providing tire and wheel service and maintenance, ensuring customers are safely back on the road, and delivering high-quality service at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic, tire repairs, and maintenance procedures on customer vehicles at breakdown or work-site locations
  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires from passenger to large trucks
  • Drive to deliver and pick up merchandise and move customers' vehicles
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in efficient operating condition
  • Unload, load, and stock inventory and related items as required
  • Operate a forklift after certification
  • Complete all required and additional training offered by the Company
  • Process all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
  • Observe all safety rules and procedures associated with performing duties
  • Assist with special projects as requested
