Job Description

Overview

Thompson Tire & Service is seeking energetic and team-oriented Commercial Service Technicians to perform tire and wheel service and maintenance. The role focuses on providing diagnostic services, tire repairs, and ensuring customer vehicles are safely returned to the road while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic, tire repairs, and maintenance procedures at customer locations
  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair various types of tires
  • Drive to deliver and pick up merchandise and customer vehicles
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in operating condition
  • Handle inventory loading, unloading, and stocking
  • Complete all required training and attend meetings
  • Process necessary paperwork in a timely manner
  • Observe safety rules and use personal protective equipment

Required skills

  • Tire knowledge and experience
  • Mechanical training and experience in alignment
  • Experience in automotive service environments
  • Current valid driver's license and clean MVR record
  • Forklift operation skills, once certified
  • Teamwork and customer service skills
  • Time management and diagnostic skills
  • Safety compliance
