Description: Valley Services is a family-owned residential and construction solutions provider conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Jose. It consists of two divisions: the transfer station and rentals. By joining the Valley Team, you will become a member of the family.As a Service Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a company truck to drive to various locations while maintaining clean service on portable toilets, sinks, and holding tanks. The driver will also be responsible for the transfer and dumping of daily loads.Responsibilities:Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.Safely load, unload, stock the truck with supplies, and secure load for safe transport.Safely operate her/his heavy truck along the designated route to the customer site; read the route sheet, follow the map, and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher or supervisor.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers on-siteLoad and unload one to two toilets, sinks, or holding tanks on the rear tailgateMaintain Clean truck, stocked supplies on truck and fill tanks, and transfer waste at the end of each dayService rentals with the highest quality of serviceProvide routing feedback to the Operations Manager/SupervisorUnderstand and adhere to all required safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company safety standards and all State and Federal regulations at all times while operating your vehiclePromptly report any issues or incidents to the dispatcherProvide professional, prompt, friendly customer serviceMaintain and submit DOT logbooks, daily route/productive sheet, and vehicle condition report (post-trip inspection sheet) Requirements: Qualifications:Must have either Commercial Class C / Class B / Class A with Tanker Endorsements, No air-brake restrictionsMust have a valid DOT Medical Card/CertificateMinimum 1-2 year driving experienceMust pass drug screening and physicalClean driving recordMust be able to maneuver trucks into and out of minimum clearance spaces, using mirrors to back distances up to approximately 120 feet.Strong work ethicNo prior portable toilet service experience is requiredPhysical Requirements (but not limited to):Walking, Bending, Climbing, Crouching, Driving, Sitting, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing/pullingGripping/ grasping controlsVisually inspecting around and under the truck and its componentsAble to lift at least seventy-five (75) pounds as needed dailyStamina and flexibility to maintain a steady work paceAble to effectively communicate with dispatch/supervisorsCompensation details: 25-35 Hourly WagePIad5da27a96c8-8039
