Overview

Upson Company is seeking a Commercial Roofer in Caldwell, Idaho to perform general work on commercial reroofs and roof applications for new constructions. The role offers opportunities for career advancement through training programs, aiming to develop employees into Journeyman positions.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, repair, or replace a variety of roof systems using specialty tools
  • Install vapor barriers and layers of insulation as well as full roof assemblies
  • Complete demolition or tear-off as needed
  • Set up and take down work site, tools, and equipment as directed
  • Be available for overtime work

Required skills

  • Roof installation and repair experience
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to use hand tools specific to job duties
  • Physical stamina to perform duties in varying outdoor conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial
