Job Description

Overview

The Commercial Relationship Manager I-III at Fresno First Bank is responsible for managing and growing commercial lending relationships, focusing on equipment, commercial real estate, and business loans. This role involves soliciting and negotiating loan agreements while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive long-term business opportunities.
  • Use CRM systems to track interactions and manage pipeline activity.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate loan applications and creditworthiness.
  • Coordinate loan processing and ensure compliance with Bank lending policies.
  • Negotiate, underwrite, and process renewals of credit facilities.
  • Contribute to branch profitability and implement marketing efforts.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the financial industry and market conditions.
  • Review customer reports and approve or decline exceptions within lending limits.
  • Provide leadership and training to less experienced loan officers.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products and federal compliance regulations.
