Overview

The Commercial Portfolio Manager at Partners Bank plays a crucial role in supporting the bank's Commercial Bankers by managing the existing loan portfolio, analyzing new lending opportunities, and ensuring compliance with established lending objectives. This position is integral to fostering strong credit relationships and ensuring high service level expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor commercial loan portfolios and ensure compliance with lending policy.
  • Collaborate with commercial bankers and credit department to handle customer requests and loan renewals.
  • Submit requests for appraisals and environmental reports.
  • Analyze new loan requests in conjunction with Commercial Bankers.
  • Provide portfolio support for loan closings and assist in documentation review.
  • Engage in community involvement to promote bank products and services.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the financial field
  • Experience in credit analysis in a commercial loan environment
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to work independently
