Overview

The Commercial Portfolio Manager at Partners Bank plays a crucial role in supporting Commercial Bankers by monitoring the existing loan portfolio, analyzing new lending opportunities, and closing loans according to established policies. This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure high standards of credit and customer support.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor commercial loan portfolios and report exceptions
  • Collaborate with Commercial Bankers on customer requests and loan management
  • Work with Credit Department on appraisal and environmental report requests
  • Analyze new loan requests alongside Commercial Bankers
  • Provide portfolio support for loan closings and documentation review
  • Assist with risk rating evaluations, credit memos, and loan covenant testing
  • Ensure timely collection and analysis of financial statements
  • Engage in community involvement to promote bank products and services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
  • Minimum of five years' experience in financial field or credit analysis
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
