Overview

Best-One Tire & Service is seeking a Lead Commercial Mechanic for their AlignRite location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The ideal candidate will lead a team in performing non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles, emphasizing teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of mechanics in performing non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles
  • Perform alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections
  • Provide guidance and training to team members
  • Assign jobs and duties to team members
  • Assist with scheduling customer jobs
  • Motivate team members and keep them on task
  • Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory
  • Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs

Required skills

  • Six years of general mechanical work experience
  • At least three years of experience with commercial vehicles
  • Experience with commercial vehicle alignments
  • Own tools and tool storage
  • Experience with computer point of sale software (preferred)
  • Possessing a CDL (preferred)
