Job Description

Overview

The Commercial Loan Servicing Assistant at Northwest Business Development Association is responsible for monitoring and servicing loan functions, ensuring timely payment receipts, and managing documentation related to loans. This role requires collaboration with borrowers and third-party lenders, while also maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and service loan functions and ensure timely receipt of payments and financial statements
  • Provide payoff information and support site visitation efforts
  • Maintain real estate and personal property lien filings
  • Upload financial information to data management system
  • Monitor systems for financial statement requests and UCC filings
  • Prepare accurate payoff statements when requested
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of duties in Loan Management System and Document Management System
  • Assist with procedural recommendations to improve efficiencies
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational values

Required skills

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Title Insurance and Commercial Real Estate lending
  • Strong proficiency in PC applications including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Experience in SBA 504 VENTURES
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
  • Dependability and good attendance
