Overview

Burgermaster is seeking a Commercial Kitchen & Refrigeration Service Technician to join their team in Bothell, Washington. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment to support the operations of a growing fast casual restaurant group known for its commitment to quality and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment.
  • Perform refrigeration system repairs, including leak detection and refrigerant recovery.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
  • Develop and maintain equipment parts lists and recommended spare parts inventories.
  • Train maintenance personnel on repair procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management.
  • Respond to emergency service calls to minimize operational downtime.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and travel between restaurant locations.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and gas-fired systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including email and CMMS software
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
