Overview

The Commercial HVAC Estimator & Business Development role at Acloche-Direct Hire involves identifying and developing relationships with General Contractors and facility owners to secure contracts for new construction and service divisions. The position requires precise estimation of mechanical project costs and managing relationships throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop long-term commercial relationships
  • Estimate mechanical project costs and material requirements
  • Lead the 'Design/Build' project lifecycle
  • Initiate high-level sales contacts and solicit competitive bids
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and job closeouts
  • Monitor active project milestones for customer satisfaction and compliance
  • Manage a strategic portfolio of commercial maintenance accounts

Required skills

  • 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or technical sales and estimating
  • Mastery of commercial HVAC design principles and local building codes
