Overview

Office Installations Inc is seeking a Commercial Furniture Installer and Driver in Westland, MI. The role entails assembling and installing commercial furniture while ensuring exceptional customer service and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and install commercial furniture including desks, chairs, and panels
  • Load and unload furniture on trucks carefully using protective materials
  • Drive commercial vans and trucks, up to a 24-foot box truck
  • Install window coverings, artwork, and specialty items
  • Perform quality checks on installed furniture
  • Communicate proactively with team members regarding project status
  • Ensure workspaces are clean at project completion
  • Use hand tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture
  • Maintain professional communication with clients

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in furniture assembly and installation preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility and adaptability in work tasks
