Description: Innovation At Work, Inc. (IAW) is seeking an experienced Commercial Floor Equipment Field Service Technician to provide scheduled preventive maintenance and minor repairs for commercial housekeeping equipment at three customer locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.Work LocationsPalo AltoMenlo ParkLivermoreThis position supports approximately 329 pieces of commercial floor care equipment and requires travel between the three locations. Need to be experienced conducting equipment operator training or technical instruction. ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance according to OEM recommendationsInspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairsClean, lubricate, adjust, and test equipmentReplace normal wear items as neededComplete electronic service reports and maintenance documentationMaintain a professional relationship with onsite personnelEquipment IncludesAutomatic floor scrubbersBurnishersBuffersCarpet extractorsWet/Dry vacuumsBackpack vacuumsCentral vacuum systemsAir moversOther commercial floor care equipmentScheduleApproximately 48 hours per monthTwo scheduled service days per month at each of the three locationsFlexible daytime schedule (Monday-Friday)Competitive compensation based on experience. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and servicing commercial floor care equipmentExperience with one or more of the following manufacturers preferred: Advance/Nilfisk Windsor Clarke Tennant Kärcher Minuteman Powr-Flite Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesExperience performing preventive maintenance independentlyValid driver's license with reliable transportationAbility to lift up to 75 poundsStrong communication and documentation skillsPreferredExperience servicing hospitals, schools, commercial facilities, or government facilitiesExperience working under preventive maintenance contractsEPA/OSHA safety training is a plusPI5bce01cd0cc8-3919
