Overview

The Commercial Construction Refrigerant/Med Gas Piping Installer/Manager will oversee the installation of piping systems in commercial applications. Responsibilities include site investigation, project documentation, safety monitoring, and coordination of manpower and resources across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations for the bidding process
  • Manage job documentation and installation of piping systems
  • Ensure accuracy of rough-ins, sleeve penetrations, and grades
  • Coordinate layout of refrigerant systems and rough-ins
  • Manage takeoffs and delivery scheduling
  • Monitor safety for workers and their environment
  • Initiate RFIs to the project manager and track change orders
  • Prepare daily reports required by the general contractor
  • Perform equipment and refrigerant specialties takeoffs
  • Track job progress and ensure quality control
  • Train field personnel and attend jobsite meetings
  • Review drawings, specifications, and job documents
  • Assist with labor budgets and job cost report reviews
  • Assist in job close-out functions and cleanup
