Overview

The Commercial Construction Lead Superintendent at Engen Contracting Inc. will oversee various commercial construction projects, focusing on both ground-up and remodel work. The role requires experienced leadership in project management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring that all projects adhere to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain project scheduling with weekly updates
  • Conduct safety enforcement and weekly onsite toolbox meetings
  • Utilize Procore for daily reporting and monitoring
  • Coordinate inspections and generate punch lists
  • Verify subcontractor change orders and validate labor/material projections
  • Communicate effectively with Owners, Architects, and other consultants
  • Interpret blueprints and coordinate between various construction designs
  • Organize and conduct weekly onsite subcontractor meetings
  • Respond in a timely manner to office staff and attend meetings
  • Ensure a drug-free workplace and adhere to ethical business practices
