Overview

The Commercial Class B Driver at Wrist Ship Supply is responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods, ensuring high levels of customer service. This role takes place within a global company known for its ambitious growth strategy and commitment to excellence in delivery services.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses using assigned routes.
  • Follow time schedules for transport, delivery, and retrieval of goods.
  • Exercise judgment in response to changing circumstances affecting routes.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate motor vehicles safely.
  • Ensure all goods delivered are present and in acceptable condition.
  • Collect customer feedback and address routine inquiries.
  • Complete logs and reports accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to federal and state safety regulations and standards.
  • Report safety incidents promptly and correctly.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Current and valid California drivers license
  • Minimum one year of driving experience in a customer-centric manner
  • HazMat certification required
  • TWIC Card preferred
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
