Overview

The Commercial Banker III at Partners Bank is a business development role within the Commercial Banking department. The individual will manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships, focusing on generating loan and deposit growth through existing and prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of up to $100MM in Commercial Banking relationships
  • Generate loan and deposit balance growth
  • Analyze credit history of applicants and determine loan repayment capabilities
  • Negotiate credit terms and collateral specifications
  • Evaluate customer loan requests and make recommendations to leadership
  • Review laws and regulations impacting business lending
  • Consistently generate new business opportunities
  • Engage in community involvement to promote the bank's brand and services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
  • Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with lending services
  • Strong managerial, communication and business development skills
