Overview

The Commercial Banker III at Partners Bank is a business development role focused on managing a portfolio of Commercial Banking relationships. The position requires generating loan and deposit growth through existing and prospective customers while fostering community relations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking relationships
  • Generate loan and deposit balance growth
  • Analyze credit history and determine loan repayment capabilities
  • Negotiate credit terms and loan specifications
  • Develop and maintain competitive interest rate structures
  • Evaluate customer loan requests and make recommendations
  • Review and recommend changes based on new laws and regulations
  • Consistently generate new business opportunities
  • Engage in community activities to promote the bank's brand and services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
  • Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker
  • Ability to develop and manage a portfolio of up to $100MM
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with lending services and related areas
  • Strong managerial, communication, and business development skills
