Overview

The Commercial Banker III at Partners Bank is a full-time, hybrid role focused on business development within the commercial banking department. This position involves managing a portfolio of relationships, generating loan and deposit growth, and developing strategies based on market needs and financial institution policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of up to $100MM in Commercial Banking relationships
  • Generate loan and deposit balance growth through existing and prospective customers
  • Analyze credit histories and determine loan repayment capabilities
  • Negotiate credit terms, including costs, repayment methods, and collateral specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend loan requests to leadership
  • Review and interpret laws and regulations affecting business lending
  • Engage in community involvement to promote bank brand and services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker
  • Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures
  • Strong managerial, communication, and business development skills
