As a Commercial Agency Support Representative at GEICO, you will be pivotal in supporting business-to-business relations with insurance agents across the United States. This role involves addressing coverage and underwriting inquiries, facilitating policy changes, and providing troubleshooting assistance in a fast-paced call center environment. Key responsibilities

  • Act as the first contact for agents and their customers
  • Answer coverage and underwriting questions
  • Support policy changes and provide troubleshooting assistance
  • Learn processes for handling sales and service inquiries related to Commercial Auto Insurance
  • Assist in maintaining required licenses issued by the state insurance department

Required skills

  • 2 years of customer service or administrative support experience
  • Experience in an insurance agency or as a trucking insurance agent preferred
  • Possession of a P&C license preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot applications and escalate as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and priority-setting skills
  • Ability to multi-task and learn large amounts of technical information
  • Ability to handle heavy call volume and stressful situations
