Overview

Messerli Kramer, a respected law firm in Minneapolis, is seeking a full-time Collector to help recover outstanding debts on client accounts. This position focuses on creating a positive consumer experience while negotiating repayment solutions and maximizing bonus potential.

Key responsibilities

  • Communicate with consumers via phone
  • Negotiate repayment of debts according to firm/client standards
  • Maintain a professional demeanor to support positive consumer experience
  • Accurately enter data into the database and tracking system
  • Review consumer files while ensuring confidentiality

Required skills

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to manage stressful situations
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • 1-3 years of collections or related experience preferred
