Overview

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a detail-oriented Collections & Recovery Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas, to assist with post charge-off account resolution. This role involves coordinating recovery activities, working with third-party vendors, and engaging with customers to maximize recovery outcomes while mitigating losses.

Key responsibilities

  • Assign charged-off accounts to external recovery and repossession partners
  • Manage follow-ups with vendors to track account activity
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding repayment options and settlements
  • Maintain accurate account updates and documentation within internal systems
  • Respond to inquiries from internal teams and customers via phone and email
  • Support legal recovery processes and coordinate with attorneys on escalated accounts
  • Review disputed accounts and escalate complex cases as needed
  • Assist with redemption and reinstatement processing
  • Partner with internal teams on fraud-related matters

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in collections, recovery, finance, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication skills for sensitive conversations
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Background in automotive finance or lending preferred
  • Experience with third-party vendors or agencies
  • Comfortable with high-volume phone and email communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
