Job Description

Overview

The Cognitive Retraining Specialist at NeuroRestorative, part of the Sevita family, is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients in a facility-based setting. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing rehabilitation plans, and ensuring communication and coordination with treatment teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of clients and provide direct client services
  • Evaluate clients' needs and develop individual rehabilitation plans
  • Create, coordinate, and evaluate service plans based on client assessments
  • Provide case management with attention to insurance needs
  • Assess referred clients and lead service plan development
  • Participate in team conferences and lead discussions
  • Complete relevant documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain clients' clinical records and progress notes
  • Participate in the on-call process as scheduled
  • Perform other related duties as required

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree plus CSW or teaching certification
  • Master's degree in a human services field preferred
  • Minimum one year experience with clients having developmental disabilities or mental health issues
  • Licensure and/or certification as required by site and state standards
  • Current driver's license and auto insurance for transportation
