Overview

Camarillo Fitness Management Holdings LLC is seeking high-energy, passionate Fitness Coaches for Orangetheory Fitness locations. The role involves leading dynamic, science-backed group workouts that motivate participants and ensure their safety while delivering an engaging fitness experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Orangetheory group workouts for up to 36 participants
  • Ensure the safety of all participants with real-time exercise corrections and modifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, especially the fitness floor
  • Help build class attendance and member retention through motivation and personal connection
  • Represent Orangetheory at internal and external marketing events
  • Stay current with Orangetheory programming and attend required meetings and training

Required skills

  • Current nationally accredited fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, NFPT, NPTI)
  • Current CPR/AED Certification
  • 1+ years of experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and functional movement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse fitness levels in real time
  • Physically capable of demonstrating exercises and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred)
