Key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and program CNC machines
  • Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
  • Select and secure holding fixtures and tools on machines
  • Calculate and set controls for machining factors such as speed and feed
  • Make mechanical and program adjustments to meet quality requirements
