Job Description

Overview

The CNC Programmer at JARP Industries Inc will assist in the development and programming of computerized machine processes in a manufacturing environment. This full-time, onsite role requires the programmer to work closely with the Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Programmer to create machining programs and maintain routing for machines.

Key responsibilities

  • Write machining programs for new parts as assigned
  • Maintain facilities on routings for the most current machines
  • Determine machining processes from established drawings/prints
  • Write machining programs for parts using CAM software
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and speeds based on design specifications
  • Run simulation tests for machining programs
  • Create setup sheets for programmed parts
  • Evaluate programs for efficiency, quality, and safety improvements
  • Review ECNs for potential program changes
