Overview

Kinetic Engine Systems is seeking a CNC Programmer with expertise in milling operations. This role involves creating CNC programs to automate machining processes, with an emphasis on multi-axis programming and CAD/CAM experience, particularly with NX software, in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement CNC programs for machining operations
  • Select tooling and tool paths using software
  • Analyze and resolve tool and program-related issues on the shop floor
  • Review and modify existing programs and processes for continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a clean work area
  • Prepare tooling and setup sheets for machining operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management

Required skills

  • CNC programming and milling operations experience
  • CAD/CAM experience, preferably with NX
  • Understanding of CNC machining techniques and materials
  • Blueprint interpretation and GD&T knowledge
