Job Description

Overview

The CNC Programmer at JARP Industries Inc will be responsible for developing and programming computerized machine processes in manufacturing. This full-time, onsite role requires the individual to work under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineer and the CNC Programming Team Lead, primarily focusing on creating machining programs, ensuring efficiency, and conducting simulation tests.

Key responsibilities

  • Write machining programs for new parts as assigned by the Senior Programmer
  • Maintain routing facilities for current machines
  • Determine machining processes from established drawings/prints
  • Create machining programs using CAM software
  • Select appropriate cutting tools and speeds based on design specifications and materials
  • Run simulation tests for programmed parts
  • Create set-up sheets for programmed parts
  • Evaluate programs for potential improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Review ECN's for possible program changes
