Overview

Plasser American Corp seeks a CNC Programmer to write and update CNC programs for new jobs while incorporating the latest tooling and revisions. The role focuses on ensuring quality and accuracy in program development, minimal scrap, and safe machine operations within the railway maintenance sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Write CNC programs for new jobs and update existing programs as necessary
  • Incorporate new tooling and revisions based on changes in technology
  • Double-check programs for errors to maintain quality and safety
  • Eliminate scrap and unsafe machine movements

Required skills

  • Proficiency in CNC programming and software
  • 3-5 years of experience with Mastercam
  • Knowledge of Inventor preferred
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts and write reports
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
