We currently have anopening with a large, well-known company in Orlando Area looking for a Press BrakeOperator / Set Up - Pay Rate DOE $19-24 an hourPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakeequipment to form precision metal parts according to customer specifications, blueprints,job requirements, and quality standards. Performs tooling changes, machine adjustments,part inspections, and production activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurateoperation of equipment.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Set up, adjust, and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metalparts according to blueprints, customer specifications, job requirements, andquality standards.2. Perform complete machine setup including selecting, installing, and aligning propertooling and dies; setting up programs, back gages, bend sequences, machineparameters, and required adjustments to produce conforming parts.3. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, job cards, specifications, and workinstructions to determine setup requirements, dimensions, bend angles,tolerances, and material specifications; modify CNC press brake programs, bendsequences, machine parameters, and program settings as required; and verifyinitial setup and production parts using appropriate measuring equipment toensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality requirements.4. Perform press brake operations involving various materials, thicknesses, angles,radii, and multi-step forming processes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.5. Perform monthly machine inspections and communicate maintenance, tooling, orequipment concerns as needed.6. Monitor production processes, troubleshoot forming issues, and make machineadjustments as needed to maintain part quality and production efficiency.7. Identify and communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, tooling problems,and opportunities for process improvements.8. Accurately record production information using required systems, includingscanning job cards and entering data into the system, including start and stoptimes, production quantities, scrap quantities, job status and location of finishedparts.9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, actively participate in continualimprovement activities, and support company safety initiatives.10. Follow all company policies, procedures, ISO requirements, and safety standards,including proper operation of equipment and use of required personal protectiveequipment (PPE).11. Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient press room operations.QUALIFICATIONS12. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.13. Experience: • Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operationexperience preferred. • CNC press brake setup and operation experience preferred.• Experience working in a metal stamping or fabrication environment preferred.14. Knowledge & Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills. Understanding CNCprogramming and ability to modify machine programs as required. • Understandingof bend angles, radii, material thickness, and basic forming principles. • Ability toread and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions. • Basic shop mathskills including fractions, decimals and measurements. • Strong attention to detailand ability to identify quality concerns. • Ability to read and understand English forjob instructions, safety materials and documentation. • Ability to use precisionmeasuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, angle gages, micrometersand height gages or willingness to learn advanced measuring equipment. • Ability towork independently with minimal supervision while supporting team objectives. •Effective communication and teamwork skills. • Safety and quality-orientedmindset
