Overview

The CNC Operator - 3rd Shift role at Clayens US LLC involves performing advanced manufacturing functions with minimal supervision. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, ensuring production efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes
  • Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T to produce precision parts
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or process issues
  • Complete work orders and maintain production and quality documentation
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards
  • Handle, package, and label finished goods
  • Assist in training Level 1 operators as directed
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams for process improvement
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
