Job Description

Overview

Enjet Aero is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist for their night shift in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The machinist will be responsible for producing complex jet engine parts for various sectors and ensuring that production deadlines and quality standards are met with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform complex machine setups on 5 axis mill/turns machines
  • Run and inspect parts with little to no supervision
  • Read operation sheets and blueprints
  • Maintain quality standards and accurately measure completed work
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and supervisors
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Required skills

  • CNC machine operation experience (3+ years)
  • G & M code knowledge
  • Ability to setup and run machines accurately and efficiently
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Okuma controls is a plus
  • Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment
