Overview

JARP Industries Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist for 2nd or 3rd shifts in Schofield, Wisconsin. This role requires proficiency in operating Vertical or Horizontal Machining Centers, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Vertical or Horizontal Mill Machining Centers
  • Perform "first piece" inspections and ongoing part checks
  • Maintain tooling, inserts, and machine readiness
  • Complete daily and weekly equipment maintenance checks
  • Follow all material handling and safety procedures
  • Support additional machining operations as needed
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and production-ready

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two-year Associate's Degree in Machine Tool Technology or 3+ years of hands-on CNC Machinist experience
  • Strong experience with Machining Centers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Openness to learning new product designs and machining methods
