Job Description

Overview

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts to enhance their skills in advanced manufacturing technology. The role involves setting up and operating various CNC machines while ensuring quality and safety protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis Milling machines, VTL's, and horizontal Lathes
  • Upload, download, and edit CNC programs as required
  • Analyze and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
  • Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools
  • Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles and G and M codes
  • Select and secure fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines
  • Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators
  • Document actions by updating control charts and travelers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Participate in first piece, in-process, and last piece inspections
