Overview

A fast-paced contract manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in Santa Maria, California. The role involves manufacturing high-precision components and assemblies for various markets such as industrial instrumentation, aerospace, and medical.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up production parts and qualify 1st article inspections.
  • Monitor production runs for tool wear and identify finish and dimensional problems.
  • Use hand tools for setting up and breaking down machine tool fixtures.
  • Maintain accurate records of in-process counts and production documents.
  • Complete assigned jobs based on a schedule with short lead times.
  • Solve problems independently in an efficient manner.
  • Follow production processes to comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members.
