Job Description

Overview

Cybercoders is looking for a detail-oriented CNC Machine Setup/Operator to manage the setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience, a strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T, and a commitment to quality and safety in the production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, align, and prepare CNC lathes and other CNC machines for production runs.
  • Load programs, enter offsets, and perform program edits and dry runs.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling.
  • Maintain machine setup documentation and production logs.
  • Adhere to quality system requirements and participate in NADCAP processes.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality personnel.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
